[ANN] DexDelta - ERC20 Token Easy Listing - Exchange for EtherDelta lovers

DexDelta https://dexdelta.github.io/ is a fork of Etherdelta. I wanted to create a decentralized exchange where it is easy for the young (and old) ERC20-based projects to get listed.

Being a decentralized exchange, you do not have to create an account. Just import your Ethereum address and private key & you are good to go. You are control of your funds.

Basically, if you know how to trade on EtherDelta, you will feel at home. It inherits all the good (and bad) things about EtherDelta.

So why did I fork EtherDelta/ForkDelta?
EtherDelta is great but the team is no where to be found. ForkDelta developers did some amazing things to EtherDelta after forking it but they too are not adding new tokens anymore. Let me know if they are ok!

All tokens previously added to EtherDelta and ForkDelta are already there on DexDelta, along with their orderbooks!



Right now, https://dexdelta.github.io/ is using order books of EtherDelta + Forkdelta, which I think makes sense since we all want a place where we can trade those ERC20 tokens. All the trading fees goes to EtherDelta team since it is based on their smart contract. I get nothing.

I'll be working to improve the UI and maintain the website as much as I can. I've been in cryptosphere from quite some time now and love cryptocurrency world. Infact, this is my life now.

All the tokens that were previously being traded on ForkDelta/EtherDelta are already available to trade on DexDelta.

What is new in this DexDelta?

I'm not seeing the point of another fork!
The only plus you present is having new registered tokens.

But you can use EtherDelta and ForkDelta for every token. There is no need to have it registered.
If you know the contract address you can trade any token.

Nevertheless, I congratulate you in your initiative to improve crypto world.

You're right but the problem is they are not listing any new tokens. And while one can trade by knowing contract address, it definitely gives the project a proper identity after getting a ticker and name listed on an exchange.

The community and users also feel much more comfortable while trading since the token is already listed on the exchange.

Nevertheless, I congratulate you in your initiative to improve crypto world.

why have I lost faith in decentralized exchanges, such as forkdelta and etherdelta. because there are many problems experienced by my community friends and on average they have lost their assets.

Remember, if you had your token listed previously with forkdelta/etherdelta (which are no longer accepting new tokens), you don't need to contact DexDelta. It's already there!

So far, all new tokens have been listed within 3-5 hours.

So, we are more efficient and offer better customer support. We will also be improving the design and this depends on the user feedback. If people prefer the classic ED look, then we won't change the UI.

We also worked with two developers (SCUDO, JOI) who wanted to get their contract address corrected.

They also approached EtherDelta/Forkdelta but they never listened, but we did.

There is no exact fee level for EtherDelta to compare it with the DexDelta. Decentralized exchanges are known by their low fees in general as you just have to pay the network miners for your transactions to get confirmed.
The platform works in the same way like etherdelta/forkdelta, where you can set the gas price for your transaction orders as you should have enough Ether in your wallet to pay the cost fees.
A response to your question should be "Yes" if you compare the DexDelta fees besides binance for example or alike.

This is not the only problem with DexDelta; what makes the difference from similar DEXs is that projects need to pay a fee of 0.2eth to be listed in the exchanges. This rule should be applicant for all new tokens after the DexDelta has been listing the majority of tokens. In addition, every added token have to provide information about the project which is not mandatory for other exchanges. Those rules moves the exchange from being a totally decentralised one to a third-part centralised authority.
