Hi! Why rewards masternode so rare? I got 3.6 CHC 8 days ago . Is this normal? 

lucky you. for now the rewards are randomly. any other lucky ones out there??  hahha

This was my first masternode and there are no more payouts until they fix the code. I shutdown the server and now running a sucre masternode. Hopefully chc will fix the code soon so that I can fire it back up.

If you want more reward try to speculate CHC on Cryptopia or try to setup some more CHC masternodes

At least ChainCoin is recovering quickly with 50% gain as of today. It means there are still traders and investors interested in ChainCoin.

Yes, there is a dev working on a core code update, which will take parts from Dash code, and BTC code and merge them to work with chc code while being truely decentralized, which Dash is not
chc will not have any spork keys to control the network.

He has said, that the code should be ready around beginning of March or so.

Supnurd aka Alan has been in chaincoin since July 2017,
Hashunlimited has been working in chaincoin from October 2017.

The dev who created is around to offer support and advice if the devs require it, along with pulling requests in github when needed.
But currently his not working on chaincoin on a daily basis

I tried to mine it with CPU using instructions found on OP at Suprnova, which I've mined a bunch of coins at but it couldn't tell what algorithm I was giving it.

Most coins follow Bitcoin's price directions. Bitcoin bottomed on 6th February and most altcoins have been recovering together with Bitcoin since then. The traders start dumping altcoins when Bitcoin crashes, then buying them back when Bitcoin recovers. ChainCoin should keep recovering as long as Bitcoin keeps recovering.
