Uh. All things aside. If someone wants to send their ID or Passport for money over the world wide internets let em. But I'd assume 99% of people have more common sense, and the loans given out will drop.

What's the overall verdict? I was looking to apply for a loan through IBB but doing so seems questionable after reading this thread and a few other posts. Is it not worth taking the risk to apply with them or are they trustworthy?

Speaking of risk, maybe you should start only trading funds you can afford losing so that you're not 12BTC short for "a purchase" next time.

I can afford to not make that purchase. I can afford to make up the missing amount with interest on top. I just can't instantly purchase BTC's. I have a pending wire at the moment...
