CCminer50.exe - 2 x 980 GTX's

Afternoon all

im new to mining - ive recently been trawling the net to find the correct settings, but have been unable too so far - there is a couple of things i would like to know if possible!  

1 - when i run ccminer50.exe it loads and starts to run, however it is doing "Binding thread 1 to cpu 1" & "Binding thread 0 to cpu 0" its not showing me my GTX 980's apart from this message occasionally "GPU #0: result for nonce $21807C17 does not validate on CPU" & GPU #1: result for nonce $9EBEA655 does not validate on CPU"?

what is clocked too high?

the GPU's are standard out the box

the CPU is watercooled and is at 40'ish Degrees full load

ive just gone onto the modded nvidia thread and used the new kernel by OP

now getting below - all good now i think? or is that low?

I think that's about what others are getting.

You should get at least 7.2MH/s but it will require some OC.
I think you need to install nvidia inspector then for those 2 cards (why everybody are buying the 980 by pair ?  ) then go to
overclocking and P2 level performance and increase the mem clock to at least standard 3500MH (or higher if you can)
Overclocking of core, voltage can be done with standard OC tool

For more stable hashrates you should mine with a higher difficulty.

The next unreleased version will break 8MHASH on the 980.

If you want more HASH please donate some Beer.

The sourcecode will be released when I am happy with the performance.
