I updated my windows wallet and it appears to have went without a hitch. I'm wondering tho if anyone else has noticed the version number has not changed and still reports v0.8.6.2-unk-beta. Perhaps missed updating the version number or something? Perhaps it's just me Tongue

Me too.
reddcoind --help
Reddcoin version v0.8.6.2-unk-beta
Is this the newest version?

i updated my linux servers using the git repo and it showed the changes in the files so i'm assuming it is the new version. Even the git repo reports the changes when i browsed there. So i'd say it is the new version, it's just they forgot to type in the new version number Smiley

Why can't I find any block?
I've already updated to the v1.1.
And I'm mining at 40Mh/s.

I doubt anyone will be registering anywhere seeing as it looks like we're all stuck on block 5365. Any one else confirm this?

I'm going to implement a ReddCoin "awarding system", or what-to-call-it, on my project cravegig.com and the in-development storiis.com (mobile app also in development). I don't know yet, if I can manage to do it before the official api/system, but if I do, I will switch to the official system when ready.

I'm thinking of something like this on cravegig: "Get a certain amount of ReddCoins for each crave your friends do after referering them, and donate ReddCoins to a concert you crave in order to make it happen. Get ReddCoins when sharing a cravegig band-profile on facebook. The venue that fulfills your crave will get your donated ReddCoins, which they can spend on advertisement etc.", and on storiis: "Show your appreciation of funny stories/words/users by giving them ReddCoins by the click of some Digg-like button.".

What do you think?

Also, i'm a php-developer and graphics designer to some extend. Tell me if I can help with something, maybe I will!

Someone should make ReddCoin-awarding-system-plugins for CMS-systems like Drupal, Wordpress. (I might make one for Drupal.).

I really do believe in this coin, and I like the developer's attitude.

Anyone made a faucet yet? I might try, but I don't have access to a server where I can install the wallet, so maybe it won't work.

Greetings from Denmark.

joknjokn, I love these ideas. We definitely have to do this. Let us know how we can help you and if there anything we can do.

Thanks

Reddcoin

Stuff like this makes me proud of this coin:-)

I think we need to have some kind of mission / good cause. We can all chip in to fund something. Maybe it is too late for the Winter Olympics. Maybe we can fund the communist haha.. Just joking.

We can fund reddit to do something or fund wikileak.

Yah all pools stuck at 5365.

I doubt anyone will be registering anywhere seeing as it looks like we're all stuck on block 5365. Any one else confirm this?

Code:
joori@zlin:~$ reddcoind getinfo
{
    "version" : 80602,
    "protocolversion" : 70002,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 5365,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "connections" : 25,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : 8.44576339,
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1391567151,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "mininput" : 0.01000000,
    "errors" : ""
}

We are not stuck.

http://rdd.united-miners.com

Estimated shares per block is completely messed up though.

edit: For those wondering right now, yes we're on a long block, but its still not the 5000% it says - due to the estimates being wrong Smiley
