It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Damn, i've thought i sent RDD to a RED address on Cryptsy. Is is even possible to send to non existent address? It is very easy to confuse them on the current balance page on Cryptsy.  Undecided

You should be extra carefull when sending and receiving crypto coins, cut paste can anytime go wired.
RED and RDD are very confusing too. But if the REDcoin address you used to transfer your REDDcoin is
not a valid REDDcoin address, then you have a chance to recover the already sent coins.
Thats only possible if you sent the REDDcoins from your qt wallet.
Recovering the coins from an online REDDcoin wallet or from any Exchange is not possible.
To recover, delete all the files from your Reddcoin home folder except the wallet.dat file.
Then, re-sync the blockchain(qt wallet). Your reddcoin will be back.
Normally it will take some days to get back your coin. Try your luck now.
Before doing anything don't forget to backup your wallet.dat

Algorithm: Proof-of-work (soon to become Proof-of-Stake-Velocity)

There is no significant difference between PoS with maxcoinage of 2 months and PoSV implemented in RDD. Former will maintain full coin age for 2 months while latter will maintain
full coin age for 1 month and then gradually drop it to nearly 0 (cumulatively almost 2 months). It is too bad you noobs do not understand much and thus can be easily lured into
supporting crapcoins like this one. You can not tell between useful innovation and innovation for the sake of selling you shit as "the next big thing".

I would not be surprised if "the next big thing" around here is the coin with whitepaper stating 0s and 1s used are of better quality than other cryptocoins.  Grin

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

BTC38 was in the news yesterday. They were accepting USD and HongKong dollars as well from now on. I think, to get more main stream, RDD needs to have a price versus various currencies and not only versus BTC. Looking at their ( BTC38) page (not speaking chinese), I guess, RDD is not on BTC38. Is there a link where we can vote for a listing or do we have some chinese speaking communitymember who can try getting listed RDD on BTC38.

Ask Cryptsy to send to you private key from RED wallet import in your RDD wallet and you have coins.
/open NEW empty RDD wallet on ANOTHER computer to do this. DON'T play with  wallet with coins. always backup your wallet.dat/

if you have key of WRONG reciving coin wallet (cryptsy wallet when you send coins) , then import that key in YOUR wallet you have coins.  , i have same misteke with MYR, and MRY coin. and its working
if Cryptsy  provide private key. off wallet where you mistakenly send coins.. (wrong reciving wallet)
