exactly what I did. but $ amount is ooook can manage. if evaporates can manage too, but I understand you, you can not make serious FIAT unless into 100's of satoshi anyways..

what is really happening and very common knowledge is that people convert reddcoins to bitcoin but bitcoin took a hit, so profit margin is less and less to do so.. this should be reflected in charts Today going into tomorrow

thinking out loud, is no way bitcoin will be spent as easily its waaay to expensive so reddcoin becomes commerce on very large scale, question of adaptation looms of course doge was tipped left and right.. but reddcoin can be used for real payments and finally real use of crypto on the massive scale.. especially with social wallet

Just wanted to say that I have just lost all my Reddcoin trying to update my wallet to the new v1.3. The instructions that were on the net did not correlate with my computer, so I contacted support who could give me about 2 sentences worth of NON support. Not sure why they are in support if they can't support folk having trouble. I am not computer savvy but am still very interested in cryptocurrency. Other teams have been far more supportive. I am really pissed off at the LACK of support. And this makes me laugh!

I agree that updating the wallet is tricky business from the standpoint of the average user who is just getting into the crypto world.  A potentially dangerous mindfield to navigate when someone's assets are at stake.  We've all heard horror stories about people losing access to their bitcoin wallets.  We still have a long way to go in order to set up a system that is able to cater to more than advanced technical ability users.  I tried to update my wallet yesterday and also ran into the error message stating that I had to reset the blockchain.  I then had to read a few different versions of accounts of troubleshooting the wallet update.  The key take home message was to backup your wallet.dat file.  I did this at least a couple times to make sure.  Then delete the contents of the Reddcoin folder under Appdata-Roaming.  Then start the v1.3.  Then delete the newly generated wallet.dat and replace with your backup version to restore your wallet with your original coins in it.  The process is tricky enough for someone who isn't used to it, and can be nerve racking considering that the contents of your wallet are at stake.

Have you let the new wallet finish syncing 100%?

Also, did you keep your original wallet.dat file?

you might still have it in C:/Users/(your PC account name)/AppData/Roaming/ReddCoin or look in your Recycle bin if you erased it.

I just bought some more at wesellredd and am also mining RDD at Genesis Mining at the moment, got almost 16 MH/S hashing away at that, then tomorrow mining will be done and will be ready for staking.

Have almost One million Reddcoins, so quite small in the scale of things but enough to keep me occupied with anyway.

Seems a good coin, I mined Doge when that first came on the scene and I see RDD as a progression from Doge so hoping it will do well and be around in the long term.

I warned, if you trace my posts back to start withdrawing from exchanges.. not just to start depleting supply but in general to avoid lock ups , lock ups could be size of wallets and inability of certain exchanges to handle these wallets look at latest cryptsy message (in regards to LTC/BTC but the same software driving it apply, exchanges are not exactly transparent in how they do business as we would clone them at will if it would be so..)

biitrex is warning on reddcoin anomalies but this could be due to just # of transactions maybe mix up with red coins (red should be taken off line btw, although I do like the fact that all coins as many as possible are alive)

start removing redds from the exchanges I am telling you!

I can confirm with 100% that WeSellRedd.com is excellent, have decent amount, however even 100K is like interest annual (in the future you will have to wait entire year to get to this amount)
