Hi all,

The marketcap of Ripple is:
$ 2,096,582,481
And is worth:
$ 0.021

But some other coins have much more value and less marketcap.
Is the start price different of every coin?

Because litecoin is just: (less then ripple)
$ 577,874,654
And is worth
$ 22.80

Simple math.

How many coins are available X price per coin.

Some coins are available in the millions or billions. Some are 42 or less.

Yes, but how is the price per coin calculated?

the price per coin is not being calculated. it's the price traders are willing to pay for a certain coin in the exchange.
