Hello all,

I have $6k to invest in a machine, which one?  I have been reading the board for the past hour and have learned some new things but still can't find what I need.

I understand buying PRE_ORDER is a BAD idea.  So I made this thread.

If this is a dupe (which it probably id) please point me in the right direction.

Also inform me if I am not asking the right questions.

I understand the costs that are involved in running such a machine.

The above suggestion:  mining scrypt/alts is technically more profitable at the same costs compared to mining btc directly.  Mining scrypt requires a little more build and setup if you go that route.

Current best priced asic hardware is either antminers or avalon type clones running around 200GHs for about 1.4 btc.  They are in the marketplace and group buy forums.

Is really 200GH/s so cheap for in hand units ?
