Heh - I had created #bitcoin-btcmine and had been idling in there...

One question - for last block solved, (118405) I submitted 18104 shares against the 166,119 shares total or 10.899%.  My bounty was just 4.184 BTC.

I would have suspected 50 * .98 (2% commission) = 49 * 10.899% = 5.34 BTC.  Why such a large discrepancy?

I will take a guess that the discrepancy arises because BTCMine uses a score-based method and not a proportional-share method.  So your calculation should be based on your "score / total round score," rather than "your shares / total shares."

Score based payout I think.
Probably before poll solve block some miners in the top submit a little more shares with increased round score (i.e. littleshop or some miners why do not want be in top Smiley
When pool get more hash power, I definitely decrease round score magic number, and score will be rise frequently.
This should be averaged anyway in the long term.

Bounty is confirmed after 120 blocks (Purity reaches 120 and will then show confirmed).

Your unconfirmed is for solved blocks waiting confirmation (see above)

Your estimated is a "best guess" at the reward (bounty) for the current round

yeah, i think we dindt first the round yet... i got this in money

MY MONEY
Sort by:  date↑       Per page:  10  25  50
   Date    Debit    Credit    Balance
   04/20/2011 20:46:14    0.66784704    0.00000000    0.66784704
Total:       0.66784704    0    0.66784704

thats the reward for my first round, 0.66 i think this is why it now shows 1.3 on unconfirmed, but why it says debit?  and the amount confirmed is still 0.

JWU42 already answered about confirmation.

Right now you have 1.3 unconfirmed.
0.66784704 already confirmed and processed, and you may see this sum at the "money" page in your profile.
And do not forget what you setup your minimal  payout as 50.0BTC Smiley

Because this money added to your account.
When your payment processed, you see "credit" record at the "money" page.

Nope, all already processed money do not showed as confirmed.
Money showed confirmed for very few minutes, before they processed and added to your account.
And with current pool settings your probably never see money in "confirmed"  row Smiley
You always may see processed money at "money" page, and later when you reach your payout
minimum at "payments" page, and in "total payout" row.

BTCMine API provide access to confirmed, unconfirmed values.
If GUI show only confirmed money as "balance", then yes.
As I know GUI show both (confirmed, unconfirmed) values
Total payout value also accessible, but this api call added later, than latest gui miner released.
The "real" balance for account (from the "money" page) right now not accessible trough API.
