Hi, I want to mine the easiest which seems to be SC and IOcoin, but for IOcoin I can't seem to be able to find any client software that works. The last I found throw up an error and I cant get it started, if you do have the link wonder if you can post it here? A million thanks.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

The problem with i0coin and all the alternatives, is all the sites that accept trading in them have very high cash out fees. Therefore, they are worse to mine than Bitcoin, since you're just going to turn them to Bitcoins anyway. You a powerful mining rig to generate lots and lots of them and get lots and lots of BTC to make even a high rate of something around 1.25 worth it.

https://btc-e.com only charges 0.1 % transaction fee You can't trade NMC or IOC on that exchange Hmm, they've only recently stopped trading IOC, which is strange, as that was doing pretty well... better than IOX.... hmm, damn.... I need to find another exchange for that... gits ! PROBLEM solved: Bitparking I0C exchange: https://i0exchange.bitparking.com/main0.4% transaction fee

PROBLEM solved: Bitparking I0C exchange: https://i0exchange.bitparking.com/main0.4% transaction fee Bitparking I0C charges a 0.01 BTC Fee on Withdrawls, on top of all the 0.4% transaction fees you occur getting the BTC. There are a lot of orders out for I0C, but they don't equal up to much BTC at all. So that 0.01 fee is quite large, since the only miners who are going to use it are going to be dealing in very small amounts of BTC.

Mining and selling IOC and SLC were both a lot more profitable than doing the same with BTC, just up until recently. The difficulty increase with SLC and the price drop of IOC has severely reduced the income, but that can change again. If you're mining and selling, both currencies are still more profitable than just mining BTC. For me, I am jumping between the two, and saving the coins in my piggy bank

Impatient people wanting to get their BTC no matter the cost !
