Title says it all, got drupal, got a theme that was coded by some shmuck in india who knows jack of all about PHP and drupal.

The problem: Trying to add a basic image hyperlink to a basic page.

The entire theme operates on the "short code" for drupal crap. Standard a href does not work. the shortcode will display the image but no hyperlink even when the (link= http://www.blahblah.com) is filled out. Tried every trick i have up my sleeve, and i have a lot of them. Cant seem to get past it.

One of you is going to have the magic answer without even having to think about it. so consider it $20 for just being smart.

Let me know if you need more info, for all i care i will send you a copy of the entire theme files. Screw the developers copyright and what not. $2,000 for an extended license to garbage. i ought to put it up on every file sharing site known to man for his criminal crap.

Have u tried using the Field Collection module (http://drupal.org/project/field_collection) so that you can create a field collection with link and image together, or try https://drupal.org/project/image_url_formatter, or even https://drupal.org/project/linkimagefield
