There are indeed restrictions and baning of large platforms like facebook, twitter, even google. but can still use other social media that support for ICO ads, as far as I know steemit and youtube can still be used for advertising..

I don't think the banning thing can last because it's more of a mutual benefit. Some people that have never used social media are now on them because of bounty

as far as I know if that happens, it will have an impact on many bounty because on the basis of social media is the right media to promote an ico. And if that happens maybe ico will be more promoted through media content / bloging / video. And payments from a signature campaign will increase sharply considering social media banned

When Social media bans ICO & Crypto ads, what will be the best way for companies to advertise and inform?
Then this forum is the best thing for them to advertise their ICO and crypto related ads. But I think that now they are allowing ICO and other crypto related ads because on facebook we are seeing many projects promoting their ICOs. On facebook it was only a short term ban which is now not there, at the time of banning them they announced that they are not against Crypto but they are banning because to not allow some scammers who come among them. I think now they have solved the issue and now I think they filter out those scam ICOs from advertising their ICOs.

May be they should create a new social media only for advertising icos. Of maybe tell a friend to tell a friend mechanism which may not bring much crowd to the advertisement of icos

The move by Mark Zuckagbarg to ban ICO and CRYPTO ads on Facebook is not a good idea, I don't know why many people are just ganging up against Cryptocurrency.

When Social media bans ICO & Crypto ads, what will be the best way for companies to advertise and inform?
Through famous forums like bitcointalk.org or they could make at least their own website to advertise their but they really need some huge traffic that's why they will need someone that has a huge fans. Youtube and other social media account could be used because not every social media is banning crypto ads and ICO.

There have been a lot of extreme commercials in recent times and a lot of fake outgoing deals. At least it will reduce such situations.

Facebook is also not allowing ICO and crypto related ads. I tried to put one of my blogpost in the sponsored post section of the facebook.
After few minutes I got message that such content is not allowed in the modified FB ad policy.

You can check there is no ICO related ads that you can see of FB.

Facebook Inc. bans ads promoting cryptocurrency or digital currency in its social media network because it is considered "linked to misleading promotional practices".

In the official Facebook post blog, the social media company with 2 billion users is still sorting out which ads are considered misleading and companies that are not beritikad either. Ads that offer crypto products, including coin and binary options offerings, will be banned on Facebook and Instagram, which is still a Facebook subsidiary.

The more popular crypto becomes more and more crowdfunding/advertisement sites specifically for cryptocurrency will spring up. We already see that with sites like coinschedule, cofoundit, icobench, etc.

Banning ads will have a negative effect on crypto initially but I believe it's actually a good thing. With all these bans alternatives will be provided for crypto community to be doing what they do best and once they get used to this provided measures then crypto becomes stronger again. Which ever way and what ever is thrown at us we will prevail.
