But you do realize that those stakes are only worth anything if up would controll NEMs. He doesn't. Currentl noone does but he couldn't even if he wanted to because he's no developer. If he had 1000 stakes in his account it wouldn't matter.

Public about it, or just not caught?

Fact is, the taint analysis pretty much speaks for itself. Veteran accounts make up a rather huge chunk of the initial NEM distribution. This alone far exceeds that of NXT's distribution, in which no taint analysis has been done. All of said NXT stakeholders could've been new accounts all created under a tiny number of people.

Edit: Keeping track of assets are resource consuming so nxtreporting don't keep it up to date like other information. But they display how old is the status, and you can request a refrest manually by clicking a link.
