Yours a real beauty, something I really hope to built but do not have such mechanical skills.  Maybe my next rig I will try to do something like that

The one 5970 that has a different cooler ?

It's an Arctic Cooling "5970 arctic accelero xtreme"

I just picked the card on EBay with it, it's not really
useful except if noise levels are something you care
about (it's much more silent than stock turbine).

You don't get cooler temps?  With the Arctic Accelero Xtreme 5870 that I have on two of my 5870s, I saw a dramatic decrease in temps.. (from 80s to 50s).  No such luck with the 5970 then eh?

the stock cooling
solution does well enough.

I am running 3 of these cards in a 8 gpu rig.  They run much cooler then I expected.

if memory serves, I clock them at 880/440  set the fan at 60% and they stay in the low 70's..  71, 73

"8 gpu rig"

that would be 8 cores.   3x5890, 1x5870, 1x6950   getting about 2.9Gig
