Also a 2 factor authentication is implemented, you have to confirm wallets changes, manual payout changes... You don't want your coins stolen right? A little while ago there was a malicious pool that captured user credentials unhashed and he logged into other pools changing the wallet addresses and such... Even though user credentials are hashed and encrypted in my pool, if there is a malicious person out there (like the example above) the hashing has no use. The lesson: Use different login credentials on each pool you join! |

I think so: minerd -o stratum pool:port -u username.worker -p password worker I saw that on the pool linked above, and I ran it just to see what would happen and since I didn't specify algorithm it says it started using Scrypt. |
