It didn't help, try again.
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Judging from your inescapable desire to keep going in circles we can start calling you Vitalik Buterin's DOG.

Do you know what a female dog is called?

Haha, I see your skill is still too low. Ok, let's do it again in a month.

Can you please troll around somewhere else?

I mean of course Vitalik doesn´t post here because of guys like you.
But this kind of childish behavior is just ridiculous.

Vitalik made a smart move by switching to Ethereum forum.

Now BitcoinTalk is being used for trashtalk only. Hatred of Bitcoin devs to altcoins and inability of the forum moderators to do their job led to this situation.

Don't say that Vitalik doesn't post here because of me and smaragda. He doesn't post here because of Jeff "Hashes-do-not-match" Garzik and Gavin Andresen who abuse their authority to spread FUD about Ethereum, and because of Michael "Theymos" Marquardt et al. who are biased in their moderation of posts.

You are probably right that´s not because of you.
But honestly what are you doing here?
Every single word in the direction of smaragda is just a waste of time, and you know it.
And bringing out Jinn just one second later because of this moron, is a desaster.  Wink

What am I doing on BTT? Trolling in 90% cases.
I like talking to smaragda to waste some time while taking a break.
Future of Jinn doesn't depend on posts made on BitcoinTrashTalk.

Maybe you could at least choose another thread, and not Ethereum. One of the remaining handful serious projects. Thanks. Bye.

Even if someone wanted to sell you coins, they couldn't.  Without the network being functional  yet, there's no way to send the coins to you.  All they could do is send you the wallet download they got from Ethereum plus the password - but in that case, they could still try to spend "your" coins when the network is started, so you shouldn't accept such an offer.

I love they did it that way. So devs can just focus in their project without speculation side problems and noise until they launch.

Still not sure how to setup the miner for Ether.
Is it possible to mine on the testnetwork with an OS setup?

Homepage updated:

https://www.ethereum.org/

I like the new layout
If I recall correctly the timeline for the Ether should be approaching fairly soon haven't checked yet but how goes the development progress towards the release.

Edit: Went of to check since its march/april
https://blog.ethereum.org/2015/03/03/ethereum-launch-process/

Over the course of the next few weeks several pieces of software have to be integrated to maintain this basket of security features so we can allow genesis block Ether on to this platform without unacceptable risks. Building that infrastructure is a new process, and while it looks like a safe, sane and conservative schedule, there is always a chance of a delay as the unknown unknown is discovered either by us, the bug bounty hunters or by the security auditors. There will be a post shortly which goes through this release plan in real technical detail, and I’ll have a lot of direct input from the devs on that post, so for now take this with a pinch of salt and we will have hard details and expected dates as soon as possible.

Sorry I dont have time for research anymore. Some questions:

- Is Ether supposed to be a [network] token (like Ripples) or a real cryptocurrency aka coin (like Bitcoin)?

- Is Ethereum multi currency capable or does the network/system/code only support one currency? Ether? Do they have something like NXT people call: Monetary System? (See: http://nxt.org/about/monetary-system/)

- How are these shares of the Ethereum Coperation in Switzerland called that were sold some months/weeks ago? (Is the sale still open? Do theses share pay dividends?)

- What's the purpose of this Ethereum Coperation in Switzerland? Is this an for-profit operation?

- Will there be an meaningful & influential Ethereum Foundation?

Ok, I might have fallen on my head or something but I couldn't find much on recent experiences with GPU vs CPU mining. Am I barking up the wrong tree?
