The all time high for the ETH/BTC is about 0.035. The price is just 0.026 now. The Etheruem has to work hard. |

How do you short ETH or any other cryptocurrency? Even without short selling, it's possible. You close your position waiting to buy back in. It's safer than a true market short, but you're still risking losing future gains if you don't buy back in soon enough. |

I have to say ETH is one of the currencies I've had the most success with flipping back and forth for some nice chunks of return of interest. It's not too hard once you learn to read the charts.

How do you short ETH or any other cryptocurrency? Margin trading is possible on poloniex, bitfinex aswell as kraken. As long as you have collateral in another currency you can borrow and sell coins. You don't need to have ETH in the first place to sell it. People are doing that a lot. If you're bagholding the ETH you can offer it to lend to shortsellers and increase your holdings in ETH without having to trade it but the rates are pretty bad right now for lenders. |
