Well I quit following this.  But this just came thru my news feed.  I hope more that were persuaded by all the maximalists don't fall for etc and get dumped on a second time.  This has really shown some people true colors!

What a great learning experience this has been.  One small but important note to take from this. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose and this would have never been an issue.  All this software is version what again?  0.??.?  Alpha software people dumped millions into and then it had a flaw.  Who would have thunk such a scenario could happen

Edit.  You all best hope that while your busy wasting time with all this bs that people don't start to realize btc isn't all it's cracked up to be.  When that happens watch out.  Can't wait to see what happens when it forks.  Least you all got a hard lesson here.   This is such a joke.  Consensus ruled for the fork and even the maximalists can't obey those rules.  Can't figure out why they even touch crypto.  That's all part of the mechanism!  Must be in with the group of Chinese miners holding btc back from scaling.  Make this the biggest shit show of crypto.  Then say. See HF are dangerous. Anyone with half a brain can see what's going on.   I think this community is in for a rude awakening.  Price will start to reflect that crypto wide. Not just a few coins.  Wait and see!   Keep sitting on your hands fucking with this shit show and it's inevitable!

I think we can all see what is coming.  ETH is dead.  ETC will go back to being the only chain (like it was before the hard fork). 

Sure it will take time because there is a lot of big money in ETH they won't give up easily but it is just a matter of time. 

Even the foundation will grudgingly slide back to the original chain (and probably quietly admit they screwed up).

It is like someone has started draining the value out of ETH and putting it directly into ETC.  Nobody is more surprised than me at this.

Crypto is nothing if not constantly surprising us.

Well, that is why you need a decent and big development team, because trying everything takes much more coding, testing and time than when you look at the idea on a piece of paper.

Fortunately, ETH has got a very big team to get it right for 7 months time.

Well, that is why you need a decent and big development team, because trying everything takes much more coding, testing and time than when you look at the idea on a piece of paper.

Fortunately, ETH has got a very big team to get it right for 7 months time.

Also, ETC could see a major dump soon, because of replay theft of 7.5 million ETC.

A new fork is about to come out called: CETH

This starts at the same fork 1920000, but with a tiny change to make replay theft impossible.

Therefore, those people who had 7.5 million ETC stolen from them, can switch their support to CETH with those 7.5 million coins.

It is called: Classic Ethereum

Ethereum has 12 million Ether set aside too pay for the development of ETH!

Dash has 10% deduction from the block rewards to pay for their development work!

Clearly, ETC has no development fund, nor do they appear to have any idea how they are going to pay for development work.

At the moment, their website is calling for volunteers - does not inspire confidence.
