WTF just happend that ETH dropped nearly 10%?  

Many ICO going to run their main net in upcoming time. So i think they start dumping ETH to convert to fiat for their development purpose. And combine with this bearish market.

The right choice if you have to bring the ETH to fiat, because that's where the safest place for now, the possibility of falling worse so it can get a lot more when buying.

but what if this is already the dippest? I really have a hard time making analysis on fiat/crypto market. I am closely eyeing on ETH as I am planning to buy more. I haven't sold and make cut loss on my previous holdings as I felt long term is still very healthy here.

There will be more ETH usage in the smart contract application. So the price will rise a lot again.

i think so too. it's only a matter of time and the price of ethereum will rise again. i still think ethereum will reach the price of bitcoin one day.

Ethereum has entered a new adjustment cycle, and this adjustment target will be around $488. I have already prepared some USDT to wait for this price to buy.

I don't think it will go below $500. There will just be too many people jumping in to use the opportunity and get a good entry point.

You never know what the goals of the big guys in this game are. If they want to see the price go below $500, they will make it happen.

For now that is still the case I guess but I think that will also change even more in the future. People can easily access the markets and purchase cryptos they like, which means less control in the hands of a few.

Basically right, but we have seen much larger markets than crypto having been manipulated in the past. Not sure how that compares to crypto though, but the motivation to profit from manipulation will always be there.

It will not be that easy to immediately overcome bitcoin. Bitcoin is bitcoin. The mother of all coins. But surely, algo of bitcoin is being surpassed by the new coins. Ethereums infrastructure are slowly being layed world wide. When more and more have used it and experienced it. Transaction payments, sending and receiving money. Knowing a much lower transfer fees. May be later, it can surpass bitcoin. Time is an essence for ethereum.

Always going to be an interesting question whether Bitcoin might one day lose the lead. It would certainly be a crazy day

Before you can only exchange BTC to our local money. But now, you can. So, I believe that these central banks are now allowing ETH to be one of the most trusted coins on crypto. That's what I think.

Are you kidding? It's perfectly legal to convert direct ETH into legal tender? Which country are you from? I have not heard of such a thing.

This is start of mass adoption of cryptocurrencies as everyday more and more banks are showing interest or intention to start testing blockchain based payments settlements and Ethereum is their first choice. All these positive news together will provide enough fuel to Ethereum to ride easily to upwards once we come out of the present situation.

If any of you are wondering why Eth dropped so much in such a short time, you need to consider what is going on with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is drawing closer and closer to 6k. If BTC falls below 6k, it could spell disaster for the crypto market as a whole. Keep in mind that when Bitcoin goes down, it takes everything else in this market with it. Having said that, expect that there will be people who are going to get out while they can still be profitable or at the very least break even before a massive panic sell takes place and thrusts us into a much deeper bear market. We better hope BTC doesn't fall below 6k, we better hope things turn around soon!

Saying Eth is doing great is not the same as saying everyone who has invested money into it is in profit. You need to be more realistic.

And just because people are concerned about the state of the market it doesn't mean they have weak hands. This "weak hands" cliche needs to go away. It's like calling someone a fudder because you don't like what they have to say about your investment. It's useless and illogical.

Yes, people should understand the way how community is treating about the ETH because we don't have exact guess how long this gone take to increase ETH price. Surely once the market starts recovering we can able to see big price pump in the market.

You're comparing apples and cucumbers here. Different algos, different hardware, DOGE is merge-mined with LTC so of course it has a lot of hashrate... doesn't mean anything WRT Ethereum.
