I think we should watch this upcoming HF event and concentrate should be on it. I am not concerned of changes in price as this can reverse anytime. I hope the required results will be acquired with this HF even there was lost of testing before it to be implemented on mainnet. Ethereum will make significant move once the stability of network and results are confirmed in post HF era.

Just try to make sure if you guys have prepared your ethereum before hybrid POS system. If the minimum staking amount for ethereum will be 32 ether as the minimum amount and then we will have a lot of ethereum to be locked in the network. That's my point in the future of ethereum.

I doubt Ethereum will go down below $100 ! This is more likely the case of whales manipulating the market to secure some more ETH bags , for the upcoming eth fork in 6 days.

I doubt Ethereum will go down below $100 ! This is more likely the case of whales manipulating the market to secure some more ETH bags , for the upcoming eth fork in 6 days.  

It is hard to pull down ETH further as the fork is a solid reason to hold it and even after the fork because POS is happening soon. I believe this would be the cheapest ETH before further going up again.

ETH will retake that number 2 spot in a week.

What are you talking about? Ethereum's nethash is over 20 times bigger than ETC.
ETC is a dead coin in zombie-mode with a market cap full of air, let it die completely and be done with it.

Ethereum cannot be attacked yet, but I'm sure it has a lot of ASIC miners already.
The problem will occur only if some time in the future more ASICs are manufactured, the mining difficulty increases to high levels for GPU miners and somewhen around May when even GPU miners with free power can't mine with 1060 cards because of the DAG size, a lot of GPUs leave the network.
If at that point the ASICs are controlled by a single entity, only then we may have a 51% attack problem.

But by that time Ethereum should have forked to ProgPOW... but I don't know how resistant is this ProgPOW. After all, ASICs can be created for everything. The goal is to make their effectiveness as low as possible in order to discourage their creation and/or keep a balance between ASICs and GPUs in the same network.

well said whales are doing their best to take all the coins they can ... keep hodling we had similar situation back those days in 2013... this is 2019 while fiat is depreciating we need cryptos which actually increases in value over time... its amazing how crypto spiked in december 2017 it was around same level of 4000 usd and in 3 months it went to 20k.. this is what happens in crypto space...

Thank you for this reminder nobody interested in this fork even top exchanges also have no plan to support this. I also agreed with you it could be dangerous if we import our private keys to this wallet so it is better stay away from this.

in usd pairs the whole crypto is falling hard. eth price in usd is down in last 24 hours above 150$ to 127$ and on binance eth price in USDT is 123$
a lot of negative change in 24 hours.
analyst was right about the crypto price may fall again.
eth price in btc pair is also going down in last 24 hours eth/btc price down about more then 7%.
hardfork of eth blockchain is ahead and this falldown of price make me worry
