Hodling eth is like holding apple and microsoft stocks and shorting it is like shorting similarly when people sold stocks in 1980s
we could even see new ATH as 2017 we were already in october and in 2 months we reached 20000 usd this is perhaps gonna be the same Eth has more potential to reach new ATH of 2k or probably 3k in this coming months

Well said! After the latest fork on Ethereum blockchain, I can see the clear difference on the speed of ETH(ERC20) transactions. At least 200% increase is real during this year.

I love Ethereum too but I think that this amount of gain will take place years from now, no certain time when but it will happen slowly but surely. This won't come an instant because the market is still starting to recover.

Ethereum is a big project, so I felt a bit dissapointed to see the topic recently (recent months) has been more burried with spam posts. Vitalik Buterin left the forum years ago, but I believe that there are core members of Ethereum team still lively used the forum. My suggestion is if there are core team members of Ethereum project still lively used the forum, please send request (as community request) to Vitalik Buterin that he should somehow manage the topic better. The ANN topic in the forum has important role, and should be kept as clean as possible. Main reason that crypto enthusiasts would prefer to get announcements in the forum because they don't want to use so much forums to get news and announcements. It's better if they can only log in the forum and get all things they find for.

It's not impossible to make huge money in crypto, as long as we invest in high potential coin and I also believe is one of the  high potential coins.

You are right! not only investing in high potential coins it is good to wait patiently as long as possible until the market starts recovering. When the price of ETH went below 100$ many people have a negative opinion about the ETH but now slowly the price of ETH is kept increasing. You are right any time ETH price will start pumping.

I would like to see other opinions on the recent trend of migration from Ethereum to other chains. Will this have some positive/negative impact on Ethereum in long term because in short term there is none as far as I think ? Few have built their own chains that is understandable but some just are switching into other chains. May be this will be good for Ethereum to solve scaling issue having issue somehow ?

Ethereum is still widely used platform for smart contracts even some projects already moved to their own mainnet. I think it will remain on the top because of its pioneer status and offering this kind of useful services. ETH have very large community and strong support from all around the world and still it increasing.

Few days ago i just sent money in BTC and took more than one hour to confirm transaction with $0.5 fee.
Mostly I am using ethereum for investing on other coins with very cheap fee but BTC very slow network with high fee.  
That's why ethereum holding 2nd position but bitcoin on #1.

I can't say if I can't wait for that day to come when I'm already contented with the price that I've set already prior to my capital that's still on loss until today. I like Ethereum and it has a large part of my portfolio but with 10000% gain.

I don't doubt it because crypto market surprises us every time we're in times like this, just like on what happened to bitcoin few weeks ago. Well, best of hope to everyone and we will see on how Ernst and Young would contribute to ETH's rise.

their are other blockchains based tokens also and they are very good like on tron, neo or eos blockchain but the real thing is development and team's hard work on the project its the only key of any project success. i think tron was eth based token when its launch after that its swap on their own blockchain eos was also
