I read this topic again, and just want to say thank to Vitalik Buterin. Cryptocurrency brought blockchain technology to the world is Ethereum, not Bitcoin, because it started the wave of ICO in 2017 and 2018!

Ethereum is again in downtrend after sitting above $180 level more than month so many people waiting for upward breakthrough but BTC crash ruin this so quickly. I hope next upcoming Istanbul hard fork could bring up more attention and help to create a FOMO and we can see a short term rally so let's see what happen next.

Sorry but I think hard-fork trend is over. It only works in 2017, and after that I don't see any successful hard fork (on the price side). After the big dump few days ago, BTC is going in to a downtrend, and ETH too.  I think we need a new trend

You are right. If the hard fork is planned on 7 Dec 2019, till there are no chances of any movement in Ethereum. Rather price of eth is continuously going down. I would say coin halving, new updates, and hard forks are stories of past, the crypto market is now mature enough and is not easily affected by such changes.

ETH Price is not falling at all, instead it gained a little bit against BTC. If you talking about ETH- USD, it is driven by BTC fall.

Can u share with me, will this hard fork affect to the market especially for Ethereum price based the last hardfork? Because I'm wasn't in cryptocurrency world on the last hardfork.

I saw flash dump before, but IMO, people only panic, it will affect to the price but not significant. Keep calm

The last hack (UPBIT) will  drop the price a little, there is no space for panic, only a take advantage to buy more on some lower levels if the panic will bring ETH down

I see still different names by forks and updates and I started to wonder what is with Ethereum creator because lately there is not much to find about him?

I don't see him on blockchain conferences as before or in media, Vitalik looks like to be forgotten and I think this is made on purpose.

No articles, no youtube videos, no discussions on stages, nothing to be honest and I am reading crypto-related media every day.

Despite Ethereum has the biggest developers base and is constantly updated, the progress seems to be slow and this year nothing special in terms of development was announced.

Crypto is weird. It is needed, but not used. At the end we have a great tech with no adoption. Years and years of development and very very small steps.

It was just inside job but after a flash crash in BTC now it recovering really fast and moving towards new milestones. ETH is also following this trend it is correlated with BTC's price action I hope soon it will get back to new floor.

I saw no panic when I heard the upbit hack news out there, just convinced me whether there would be panic and dropped the ETH price again below $ 140 as before, I saw a panic before falling below it, why did they throw cheap prices just because of the news, I think we will find a new floor to see other high prices, I only see people frantically buying yesterday

Sooner or later, the ETH price will follow the footprints of BTC. The hacking news affected temporarily the market price but it was not completely wiped out the monthly price gain percentage. $200 is the first barrier-resistance the price will test this level in a month, IMO.

BTW best time to buy at this price because $150 is the lowest price, only fake news could dump price for a while!
