Any answer to these questions is pure speculation, but I doubt most of these alt coins are worth holding. You might make a bit, you might lose a bit, nobody can give you a definite answer, you need to make that decision yourself.

But that's what everybody says about their coin. All that means is there's a lot of bagholders eager to become rich off their coin. Not gonna happen.

You have all kinds of people. Some like to hold, some like to spend them. It's with every Crypto

I personally am not a fan of Quark.

However, I think the altcoins that will eventually 'make it' are almost impossible to anticipate at this point in time.  Some might make it on merits, some might make it on weird buzz. (See dogecoin.  Not that doge has made it, but it sure has gotten farther than I would have guessed!)
