My wallet stopped working... it always shows that it is 1 hour behind, and displays a warning:

Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes needs to upgrade.

What exactly is this? Has this to do anything with the dropping hashrate?

If you were on the old wallet after the fork (many warnings were given), then you are now on the wrong chain.  You may also need to delete your block index and databases then resync to the correct chain.

ages ago, like day 3 I think, but changes only started at block 15,000 to give plenty of time to upgrade.

ages ago, like day 3 I think, but changes only started at block 15,000 to give plenty of time to upgrade.  

note that i have specified this in the op post... completely at the top.

anyways.

now it is too late, but here is your fix:

just do a full sync.

backup your wallet ( do a nice export using file menu )

close the wallet

backup %appdata%\leafcoin\wallet.dat

now remove the rest of the data directory ( %appdata%\leafcoin\ ), except wallet.dat

start new version of wallet.

let it sync.

this is the full method, that should work.

yes will take some time to resync.

we have a stable network, so should go quite fast ( < 1hr )

Not really.. you would need to wait for those with the 26btc buy order to move before your order would get processed.. if they decide to be dicks and move up to 23.. then ur order will never get filled. at this point of time.. due to block halving we are undervalued..
