Blocks are coming very fast now, just 6 more days until halve, mine while you still can get a lot.

So many times I wished I started mining a coin earlier, it's a good feeling to be on board at the right time Smiley

Leafcoin block explorer api has been released!
Now everyone can integrate this blockchain explorer to their application/website.

Api is located here: http://cryptotrends.info/api/

Here's an example of use:
Code:
   http://cryptotrends.info/api/index.php?coin=LEAF&user=a&pass=b&method=getinfo&param1=null

Parameters:
- coin
- user
- pass
- method
- param1

Details:
- coin
    - chose what block chain you want to access

- user & pass
    - currently aren't used, but plan to use them for some other api calls (online wallet, etc...)

- method
    - method being called

- param1
    - additional parameter used in some calls

- available methods
Code:

getinfo - show info about the coin
getnetworkhashps - shows total network hashrate (H/s)
getrawtransaction - show details about a transaction ( requires param1 to be transaction hash )
getblock - show details about the block ( requires param1 to be block hash )
getblockhash - show details about the block ( requires param1 to be block index)
validateaddress - validates if address is correct format ( requires param1 to be address )

Output will be in a JSON forma, easily readable to anybody.
Code:

{"version":80602,"protocolversion":80007,"walletversion":60000,"balance":0,"blocks":21381,"timeoffset":-1,"connections":8,"proxy":"","difficulty":61.77720825,"testnet":false,"keypoololdest":1392199585,"keypoolsize":101,"paytxfee":0,"mininput":0.01,"errors":""}

This API is free for use, and if you need any help about setting it up, or have suggestions on what to add, send me a PM.
In short time, i'll add an api for  REDD, CAGE and KARM. Any other suggestions?

Any tips are welcome:

Hi Rocou
I struggled with the OSX wallet for a couple of days b4 I managed to sort it for mavericks...If u look at the crash report does it mention dyld, libraries and image not found..if so then if u are familiar with homebrew try

brew install qt boost miniupnpc openssl berkeley-db4

That did the trick for me cause there were some of those missing and that was what was causing the wallet to crash when starting up

J.........

If ya get over to Irc @ freenode : #leafcoin    there are a bunch of helpful mac users who can help ya out

As long as we got this cheap coin with "to the moon" written on it, LEAF will remain an alt-doge. Just like mooncoin. I really think it's time for a reshaping and a clear, serious business plan. LEAF need merchants and service. As well as a clean and proper logo.

I'm afraid that the developpers of this coin have no idea about business and communication. This coin have good potential, nice and pure name, you guys need to properly orientate your product on the market.

Sorry for grammar.

That's a general problem for all the alts. But real merchants (not 1 page webstores) are not accepting cryptos that easy. Especially with this flood of alts.

guys remember one thing when checking pool efficiency
since the multipools jump on and off what happens a lot is following
your pool is at 80% with diff 80
now some major pools jump off and diff drops to 40
suddenly you're no longer at 80% but 160% (since it correlates to diff)
if you now find a block it will show 160% for duration though that's not really true/fair
edit:
solution is, to also look at the diff of the block

This node seems to be not updated for now, this two looks like updated:
http://solidpool.org:9166/static/
http://taken.pl:9166/static/
(you can check other nodes in pool by yourself comparing the time to block, it should be as on this nodes)

My node is also updated, but now temporarily work without connections to other nodes, those acting as standalone pool:
http://leaf.p2nex.net:9166
I made my node standalone because I'm note sure if the right block's reward is granted also for miners on not-updated nodes of pool.

1-2 days and this should go better as nodes will update. You can help it by contacting operators of nodes you know that not updated.

I am new here and learning.. What have you updated on your node? How do you know what to update Smiley when something happens?

How could I run my own p2pool without connections to other nodes? Is it possible to connect only some nodes to my p2pool, not all of them?

Thank you!
