@mcg

i think the relevant metric is the block target:

expected 1 minute:
actual:5 min and 30 seconds (as shown in the pool interface).

the coin is hurting needlessly. could you do a dynamic implementation of KGW in a range of blocks?
i think in 3-5 (max) days the community could fork again and re-update the wallet.

middlecoin asked me too much per block to stay off completely... rather i would do a fork then

middlecoin should pay LEAF

these multipools are nothing but leeches. taking, taking and not giving.

they are not supporting the network and provide no real service other then 0.01 BTC/MH to a bunch of newbies. the real winner is the multipool operator.

In real life, useless parasites do not survive for long.

Maybe the coin daemon should broadcast a fake difficulty, to keep multipools out Smiley

You could rent 1 or more rigs at betarigs.com to reach the block sooner without making the diff skyhigh.
Multipools here cause it is profitable. Also we see a huge sell walls. IMO, soon they start dump - > coin not so profitable - > multipools will not swithc to us - > we will reach kgw - > don't know future.

Some donate will be good))))))

they will be here again... its a very profitable coin at that low diff.

if everyone pointed their miners.. diff would go up.

becoming not profitable to middlecoin.

so they stay off

So middle coin want you to pay for them to stay away.  F*ck them.  They are destroying the market they rely upon.

The coin will make it through this, just wait till all coins have gravity and the multipools die.  Let the middle coin owner make the coins while they can.  Their time is coming to an end.

Sucks, I have respect for you. I've seen many coins with devs just abandoning their creations. Setting up logo or poster contest never choosing one and paying.
I'm going to mine this again at http://leaf.cryptochomper.com with all of my .5 Mhs it might not be much but hey you gotta believe!

multipools is a business model. Users enroll voluntarily in multipools for profit. middlecoin isn't the only one to blame.

yes.. multipools are dying.. but that wont help us now... i just make deals for the upcoming days ( doing business, see it that way )... lets hope its enough... it costs me other coins currently.

diff should not go over 100-110.

we have another 24h deal.

its not only middlecoin... we see at the normal pools an increase in hashrate as well. we might close them down on diff change for newly initiated workers. if possible. to save diff.

Agree!!!
Of course there's a voice on the other side sayin switch, you can do more with another new up and comer..........

I believe in leaf and what ever the DEV has planned.............I hope more keep that community spirit I heard so much of the first week. Let's just make it to the KGW and the tree will make stronger roots.

My lil old 2.8mhs is staying right here fighting thru with the others just like I have from the beginning.

i made almost 400k with 3mh/s in last 3 days.

ps cryptsy very fast on responding currently.

and they do work in weekend.

i will be discussing tomorrow with the other devs what to do..

we probably will bring the block back to lower levels ( by > 1000 < 1500 )

changes to code to include version number in irc already been made.

so the update-giveaway might be on ( 1-2 million coins to be given away )

more info?... tomorrow

we have another 24h deal.

We got 187blocks with high diff at low hashrate. Giving average 8m per block gives us almost 25h of mining with high diff.

Why making deal now? They won't mine within this time...

in the deal is one 240 round.

we will update tomorrow.

+ do a update giveaway.

i hope that will resolve it all.

much work @ our side.. but is doable. not impossible.

https://pool.chunky.ms/doge/site_assets/chunky/img/chunky_small_2.png

Hey LEAFCOIN thread, looking for a place to mine LEAF? Join us at Chunky Pool!

Here's a little more info:

  • Brand new dashboard/homepage!
  • 0% fees forever, not just "for now"
  • SSL encryption
  • Custom MPOS layout
  • Support and a wonderful community @ irc.freenode.net #chunky
  • We are equipped to withstand thousands of workers
  • Excellent stability and uptime

We also provide many other coin pools and even have a coin-switching multi-port that switches between coins to maximize profitability!

One account fits all
We have modified MPOS to provide a multipool experience. You only have to create one account, and that account is shared among all of our coin instances. Unlike some other multipools, and since we're on top of MPOS, we offer you complete transparency about provided shares, found blocks and much more!

Pools
  • Dogecoin - port 3333
  • Earthcoin - port 3334
  • RonPaulCoin - port 3335
  • Lottocoin - port 3336
  • Stablecoin - port 3337
  • 42coin - port 3338
  • Digibyte - port 3339
  • Litecoin - port 3340
  • Klondikecoin - port 3341
  • Leafcoin - port 3342
  • Potcoin - port 4200
  • Multiport - port 6666

And perhaps the biggest reason of all: we are miners just like you. We started this pool because we were sick of trying to find pools that didn't go down all the time. We are committed to making a better mining environment for you and for ourselves.
