Help get 6 GPUs on MSI Z87-G45 MB

Hey guys, trying to fit 6 280xs on one MSI z87-G45 motherboard.

The motherboard has 7 slots but I'm only able to get 5 GPUs working in 4 express slots and the 16x slot closes to the cpu. I cant get the other two 16x slots to work. Even if it is just the five cards.
The only 16x slot that works is the closes one to the CPU.

Anyone have ideas on how to get one more 280x to work?
Im using 1x to 16x powered risers.

Also any suggestions on overclocking programs that work with Diamond and XFX 280x for Windows 8.1?

You need to short slot number 5 to get the 6th card working.  Slot number 4 will not work when the others are filled.

Look on the forums for presence pin shorting.

You need Windows 8 for 6 cards and depending on your cards you may need to do a special driver mod.  Linux will easily run more than 6 cards.
