Guess I will have to learn how to CPU mine for now... finally got the hang of the GPU stuff lol
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Any chance someone can point me into the direction of a site which walks me through the process of getting that setup?  Sorry new to mining with CPU, been looking but I can't find anything

Actually, you can do it straight from the wallet application:

1. Click the "Console" button in your wallet app
2. Go to the "Console" tab
3. Type
Code:
minespice true
& press Enter.

You're now mining!

Difficult actually is very low. only 0.3

But block every 4 seconds. May be big ping to the network.
