Edit: The show is live now.  If you were in irc earlier, change your nickname. Remember that pretty much all other twit irc guys are listening to the show, so the channel is a bit random if your not listening in. So, if you want to participate, try to tune into the live feed at live.twit.tv

As we all know, our buddy TD in the bitcoin-dev irc channel is a complete baller and has introduced his BitcoinJ project on http://code.google.com/p/bitcoinj/.

TWiT.tv has a show called this week in google that gets tens of thousands of listeners

IRC BlueMatt and luke-jr had the following idea: to tune in to the irc.twit.tv (twitlive channel i believe) during This Week in Google and let leo, jeff and gina (show hosts) know about BitcoinJ.
Important:
A few of us experimented in the irc channel earlier and found that talking too much about bitcoin was not a good idea and led to bad kharma (dragon-d3! :0) on the twit irc.  This forced moderators to get involved.

Therefore, in the twit irc channel, etiquette is needed and an obsession with bitcoinj is not wise.  Let's not be 4chan or juvenile here.  If we don't get it mentioned, so what at least we tried.

One more thing, this is when the show goes live:
“Recorded live at 4 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Pacific/2000 UTC on Wednesdays.” Be on http://irc.twit.tv/ at that time

Edit: Oh, another thing we noticed during our experimenting--the twit live irc crowd is, how do i say it... not that smart?  don't get into shouting matches with them

Please don't annoy the hosts. BitCoinJ is just a 20% project, it's not that significant.
