I told dying not died. 4.8 billion is not a lot comparing to past volumes.. Also its constantly decrease. Some big players left from bitcoin, new big players are fearing to invest in it because of HUGE drop in February.

There are millions of people who lost their life savings. A lot members here talking that such dumps already was in past and thats not ruined bitcoin. Yes, but in past bitcoin wasn't such popular as now. Today every 3rd person heard about bitcoin price dropping in February. And most of people now understand that its economic bubble (not ballon, not pyramid, not fake BUT bubble. Bubble in financial industry means that something is overvalued in its price. For example real estate in London now also bubble but not such big as btc).

Most governments of developed countries banned or partially banned crypto industry. Investors from developed countries making 90% of its price. So when I hearing "small island country legalized bitcoin" for me that means nothing. South Korea, Japan, China, Central Europe, United States - main markets for crypto. And now their governments are banning crypto by making "regulations".

I made a lot of money on it in 2015-2017. But for now I say: bye bitcoin..

If you have time then try to find how many times BTC is dying, from 2009 until today, you can read hundreds of such post and they were all wrong. Why you think there is any differences at this point ? I can not agree that millions lost money in that last pump, maybe every third person is heard about BTC, but number of investors are much less than you think. There is good chance for any investor to sell BTC when the price movement changed from growth to decline, it did not happen in a few days but in few weeks.

Where you find info that South Korea, Japan or USA are banning cryptocurrency? It is just market that need to be regulated, that does not mean that crypto will be banned, just the opposite.

As you say, you made a lot of money with BTC so you are only interested in short-term profit. Fortunately not everyone thinks that way, BTC will survive with you or without you, and will become stronger than you can imagine.

A lot of ordinary people invested in btc just because of propaganda. They even didn't know what is that bitcoin. BUT after it big players SOLD their bitcoins on billions dollars and stupid mass lost their assets and now they HATE bitcoin. So mass adoption is failed. Common people do not trust btc anymore and they sure that it's just bubble. We lost millions of potential investors forever. They will not forget it.

2. They can't ban it because of its independent technology and economic processes related to it. But they can make regulations which restrict that industry a lot.

If they invest for long term then nothing was lost, 1BTC is still 1BTC and it will always be. Investing in something about which you have no idea what is it and how is work is really a big nonsense. Mass adoption has not even started and you say it is failed just because price is pump to 20k $ and then we have big correction? I do not mind if they hate BTC today, they will hate themselves one day because they sold and not hold.

Only way to cryptocurrency goes ahead is regulation, we can not have wild west in financial system - no government would let it go like that. But that will not kill BTC, just look example of Japan or Germany. In that countries regulations makes things clear for all, big investors, miners or just ordinary people have full freedom when it comes to crypto.

I think that's pretty unlikely.

Right now even though the markets are somewhat stabilising at the $7k+ level with $7k has support, I still don't think that it's enough to suggest that we'll all of a sudden reverse the trend from bearish to bullish.

Don't forget that we're still in a market with sentiments that are extremely bearish. I feel like that this bear market will probably last until end of this year/start of the next year. Sure, there may be a small rally here and there this month, but that will most likely be met with a correction soon enough. The real recovery won't happen until a few months later I believe.

well I just wouldn't keep my hopes that high for june though. Yeah we've been recently seeing a very slow positive movement for btc majority of the alts in the market but we've seen movements like this before when the price will suddenly drop back. We're halfway through 2018 so we still have a long way to and it can turn around so i'm also positive about btc. Just not in a radical way

June has started and now stepped on the beginning of the month predicted prices will improve but in fact still not still tend to fall there is a few days increase and the next day back down I think for the month is still not stable.

As time passed by, we will eventually see the price moves more than what we expect it to be. For now it's getting harder to determine price as many groups making fud and doing some pump dump trend manipulation. Initially by looking at the market you looks right but I don't think so that it is guaranteed that BTC will follow the same trend as it has faced in last two year. There is a possibility that it may change because every day there few new people that are coming towards the BTC and very few that are leaving this field because they are not able to understand this digital currency.

Hopefully, price would make higher and higher as times goes by as well as the other altcoins so that everyone will be glad.

Bitcoin will eventually break $100,000 without any problems, but the main point is that we shouldn't expect it to happen within whatever time frame. All these time frame based predictions only lead to disappointment, which is completely unnecessary. The less you expect from the short term market, the less it will bother you, it's that simple.

Will we break $20,000 this year? I don't know and I don't really care. The only thing that matters to me is that we keep seeing higher bottoms, and as long as that is the case, the market performs exceptionally well for me. Time will tell whether or not we marked a new bottom around the $7000 level, but thus far it's looking good. At worst I see it dip slightly below $7000 but not below $6500. Anything close to $6500 will become somewhat tricky.

BUT it have a big success as new stock asset because of big volatility. E.g. you can earn some k$ in just a few hours and you don't need to invest millions. Therefore hundreds of thousands newbie and experienced investors have putted funds in it. The mass really enjoyed bitcoin as instrument to became fucking rich in a short time. But there are also billionaire investors in it (big fishes) who controlling most of bitcoin related media and keeping thousands of bitcoins. They collapsed price just in a few days by opening sell order on BTCBTCBTC amounts. And I don't know how the mass will react on it. I hear a lot of people who telling "I will never play with it again"... So therefore I am so pessimist about future of bitcoin AS stock asset...

I play on long term card with BTC, and I also hope that my thoughts will be correct, but I also have in mind that all this can be wrong. Always think that something can really work, but also that it can completely collapse. Problem of most ordinary small investors is that they look for quick profit or maybe short time frame (1-5 years), but big investors are more focus on long term (5-15 years), so they thinking is completely different.

For example take just OP and his title, he is focus on June and price in next few months-mostly unimportant for big investors who just hold and do not pay much attention is the price 7000$ or maybe 7500 today. Whales are problem for sure, but with time there will be less and less chances for them to manipulate markets.

It is less upon the timing but more upon the market factor and the promotion of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin promotion continues then the demand for it will increase and will result in high value of Bitcoin in the upcoming days and probably in June.

The market will boom up once the market of Bitcoin gains the most possible demand of people then the coin will accomplish to gain the stability and a grasp on maintaining high value.
