Let's illustrate with an example: Say a quick'n easy block gets solved right now in 500 shares, and because I was too slow I submitted 0 share during those last 500 shares. If the pool is prop, I get nothing. But I did submit 10 shares during the previous 4500 shares. If the pool is prop it doesn't change anything, I get nothing. But if the pool is PPLNS with N=5000 then I get 10/5000*32=0.064 SC. Of course, statistically, if I mine for a very long time, say a year, probably I'll get as much from prop as from PPLNS. So I do think PPLNS is the best solution from a miners and from a pool operator point of view. Which is why I chose the pplns system. As for the 1% fee, I have to somehow pay for the renting of the equipement. I don know how I could keep up with 0% fee.

As for the 1% fee, I have to somehow pay for the renting of the equipement. I don know how I could keep up with 0% fee. So first you talked about 500 shares and then 5000 shares I already had a look at your pool and small pools have a big problem...no blocks found yet, it would take hours or days to get payment from your pool and I have low hash like most of people have and with difficulty rising I should get to the end and get no payment because in short time I'll have to quit from your pool and like so my payment will drop very fast from that time on...where's the advantage here? As for the fees, the pool operator set the fees not me and also runs other coins and maybe he have payed all the equipment already he charges a small fee for payouts as long as he have many miners and some of them with good hash and donating I don't see the problem in 0% fees...and as far as this pool keep paying me I do not see why I should care about 0% fees. Edit:Misspelling

Never mind... If everyone was to think like you then there would be no place for more than one pool per coin...
