Because their are many people do not know of all information, rules and regulation about this  bitcoin forum ,like newbie members most of all newbie are not familiar in their rules of bitcoin forum and didn't know to get merit.

Dont expect too much , even though you share the very best information,  you can't still say that someone will easily give you merits , merits is really good but even i dont have it yet,  i still love to share ideas,  i enjoy sharing without expecting in return ,i dont stress my self from having none merits,  i just go and enjoy and be positive.

Bitcoin is a great asset for diversification. It isn't real estate. It isn't the stock market. It isn't like most other assets you're likely invested in. It is variety. Don't worry, it is not late to buy bitcoin.

you should always be able to communicate in the forum or make a quality post in the forum .. maybe later there will be someone or admin who likes your post and they will give merit to your post as a sign that your post qualified and quality .. but not all posts will get merit

First of all, this post has many similar posts, so you should learn to search.
Second, try to post some quality posts and replies, so you may get some merit.

You have to post something that is valuable to other people. If people feel they learned something from your post, or you help others to resolve some questions/issues, they may give you merit as well.

I don't know if this thread belongs here because i have seen like this in the meta section of this forum. Merit is given is someone here likes your post, that post of yours should be informative, useful and unique. But then i can say that it only depends on the discretion of the merit source when or who to give his smerit.

this topic belongs in another thread and not in altcoin discussion .others> beginner and help is the right thread. so you do not get any merits.  Grin Grin this is a merit discussion and no altcoin discussion

Merit is given by fellow members in the forum. I have some, just from one post (I've made plenty) for something I shared regarding a project, and maybe the project creators themselves gave it to me. No other of my posts have received merit, and sincerely I haven't give merit to any other post, so I don't expect to receive it.

you can only get merit if someone gives you it. When they like your post there will be 1 merit to you.

Even if you share a very informative and constructive post for people to see they don't think it is still worth giving a merit.

sMerits are too scarce to give it like a candy to anyone. SO most of the people are only giving a number of sMerit to those

worthy post.
