What makes this one unique from the rest?

I see it's base on Quark, what are the improvements, if any?

If you want to compare it with Quark you can see that Quark isn't a scam coin.

I think that quark-like Platinum's dev should think about changing the name, as the Platinum (PT) was released some time ago, it mines great and plans great future Smiley Because silver is silver, golden is golden, but platinum is platinum Cheesy

Or they could just like... you know... stop creating new scam coins.

This or that, but there shouldn't appear a new coin with a name and shorten exactly the same as a coin launched 2 weeks ago. This action seems to be scam and spoofing.

Agreed.
And devs need to come up with better names instead of using all kinds of different food, drinks, elements and planets.

Just wanted to stop in and clarify , this is not Platinum PT , or Platinum Crypto as pointed out by a few others.
Our website  and launch information can be found at platinumcrypto.com
Its been about 2 weeks now , there was no premine, no coingen , and we had services since day one.
Also we are the Platinum listed on Marty's pool at ispace.co.uk , not this one.
Sorry I didnt get back to this forum sooner. Although great minds think alike, sorry I got to step up.

If it goes this way, sooner or later we will be mining LiteCoin and LeeteCoin in meanwhiles, others will sell Quark for Kvark, or Bitcoin for Beetcoin. People, it's going to be a mess :/ Pre-launch announcement should be made like this one to discuss the thing, in order not to duble very similar names... There's a lot of nice names, if platinum is taken it still can be  ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, silver (EDIT: sorry, not silver, as we have Argentum), osmium, iridium or other noble metal or more common and useful copper or ferrum.

We have 'scraped' Quark and added Scrypt instead.

How come?  Roll Eyes

All views are my own, except those that I have subconsciously inherited from my parents and those that I have nicked from far cleverer people.

Because there have been many pms sent to me saying they don't want Quark as the algo and instead they wanted Scrypt.

What's pity! My many friends like quark, because scrypt coin depends on the graphics card that you have.
