Would be nice to be able to add for instance 15 minutes, not one hour minimum.
Sometimes I have a faulty rig and I can deliver only 95% of the contract on a 3 hours rent ; I can add one hour but it's overkill and cost me a lot.

In fact, I just discovered you can add 0.2 hours and it'll do the trick Smiley

Underpromise, overdeliver.

Indeed you can... just type in .25 and It should work. I never had the need to five 15mins yet, but .5 and .75 did work and the time did extend for 30 and 45 mins respectively

Hello everyone, thought I'd give this a try and sounds like a great idea. Posted my rig up! Good luck my fellow miners!

I found a little "bug". I just finished installing another GPU in my rig and I went to update the rig on Betarigs.
But, after changing the hash rate the price per day remained the same and the price/mhs/day lowered to accommodate the said price per day.
So now someone just rented my rig for .0047/mhs/day.
I am going to honor this rental, but its something you should change Mux.

Thanks

Betarigs forums!

We now have our own forums at Betarigs!
http://forums.betarigs.com

As great of an idea BetaRigs is, the backend management system is dreadful.  A good designer that has business expierence could really put the hurt on Betarigs if they were so inclined to startup their own rig renting service.

Mux would rather be working with the crooks over at Dedicated Pools than to our address our issues here in this thread.

Well, good thing is, we now have whole separate forums for Betarigs Smiley

Agreed on UI and UX, there is work to be done. And work will be done.

Not sure what's up with dedicatedpool?

Yes indeed, uppping the general price would make more sense.
Thanks, noted!

Signed up, this seems like a cool idea. And since it automatically fails over to my default pool, nothing to lose Smiley

Mux, there is a problem with the new forum.
I tried registering, received the confirmation email. Confirmed my account but when I try to login it says the user doesn't exist.
If I try to register again it tells me the email is already used...
Pasword recovery also tells me the user doesn't exist

Perfect. That is what I need. Great tool. The running costs in Germany are so high- that it is cheaper to rent a rig on an other place of the world. Wink

Thank you.

I been having trouble logging to betarig for past week or so. My solution until now is to reset the password. I been resetting password everyday since.

Today, I am not even able to reset the password because no email is sent to me to reset it.

I want to disable my machine but enable to so please excuse me.

That betarigs sounds like a great idea, so good that I would have to test it too.

But a bit strange thing is, that I could rent scrypt miners starting from 30kh/s, 50kh/s and so on, but I cannot offer my rig to be rented, the site just gives error "The rig speed is too low. The minimum speed is 0.3 Mh/s to rent a Scrypt rig on Betarigs".  Huh Huh

Same was with SHA-3 Keccak -algorithm, I could rent 2.5Mh/s or 4Mh/s miners, but I cannot offer my rig because "The rig speed is too low. The minimum speed is 10 Mh/s to rent a SHA-3 (Keccak) rig on Betarigs"
  Huh Huh
Very annoying problem, but no can do, I think...   Undecided

We renters can not access any logs or stats of rented rigs. It's not fair.

Neither can the rentees. We can only watch our miners, miner logs, pools and pool logs. I am sure that the stratum proxy can even count actual shares and compare to expected contracted shares and automatically extend/shorten the time period and allow clients to obtain perfect service.
