Hi,

What is the rule for a thread self moderate to suddenly become a normal one ? This is the first time it's happened to me and I've never read any rule about this.

If anyone has the answer, thank you in advance

Never heard about anything like this.

Can you post the link to the thread in question?

This (I don't think your case falls under this, am I right?):

The selfMod bit will now be permanently cleared when a non-mod moves a topic into a section which doesn't allow selfMod.

I don't know but you should move this thread to "Meta".

It's in a section that allow selfmod (french altcoin).

Someone else already moved it for me in Meta...

Edit : I get it ! I have move it to another section to change every message's subject, then send it back to the original section (I don't know another way to do it).

thank you @SFR10.

I think I can lock this one ?

That explains everything (I looked at the board and thought since it allows selfMod, then it might have been a bug for your case (which it isn't).
  • In order to change your "topic's subject", just go to the very first post of the thread (OP) > Click the "edit" button (upper right corner of that post) > Go to the first field (Subject:) and change its title. > Click "Save" button.

I think I can lock this one ?
Yes.

I know I had posted in the beginner section, but still....

With the technique everyone knows, only the 1st title and the one of future answers are changed but not every message's subject that have already been made.
