[ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Worlds First Decentralized Game/World on the Blockchain

I started playing and I have no idea what I am doing I only just figured out I can't collect the clear coins till they have gone solid. I think that means they under respawn ? I saw a red star and walked on to it then made coffee and came back and I disappeared. I assumed I died. Why ? Did the star kill me ? Also how do I sed my coins back to my wallet ? It says I must find a bank that respawns but where ? What do they look like ?

A short guide from anyone would be much appreciated.

The red stars are banks. The coins used to make your Hunter and any coins he/she was carrying are returned to your wallet when you go over it.

Ok cool yes I am just getting use to the game. I stayed out of pvp he came towards me because I spawned near many HUC so it was attractive fo other players. What is the max HUC one coin on the map can produce ? Very cool game nice way to run a wallet xD The wallet is a game.

I mined this on launch and have never spent any coins.

I just syced up the latest wallet and put my walled.dat in the app data folder and its showing 0 coins and 0 transactions?

Any ideas?

if you ran the version with pruned the chain then it wont work for your old wallet. i had the same problem.

i had to get the other version without the pruned chain (check OP), then i sync'd from scratch (took a few days), then replaced with old wallet, it rescanned and all was good.

Well it should start with pruned and sync with your wallet but from scratch.. but running in pruned mode you cant switch out wallets whenever you want, the sync pruned node only will work with the wallet you sync with from block 0.

So here is a question, running a pruned node with a backup of my wallet.dat. Today i loaded it back up and showing 0.00 balance and it sync with 5 connections, thing is i had over 1k hucs and now 0. With 500 transactions in the wallet.dat file.

Is my copy of the blockchain corrupt or the wallet.dat and lost my hucs or what.

Just checked this with 2 old player name addresses of hunters (re-used about 60-70 time each).
According to www.huntercoin.info/blockExplorer, both still have more than 2k HUCs.
I couldn't recover these HUCs by importing privkey and rescanning.

Probably they're not real. blockExplorer is based on Abe and knows nothing about coins locked in names. Perhaps used player name addresses always show up with imaginatory coins after the hunter is dead (more with each re-use).

edit: the amount of not real coins in blockExplorer is not (locked_coins * times_reused), but less

Well i redownloaded the entire block chain from scratch ~ 16 gb (full node) and still have 0 coins.. Oh well i made my BTC off them twice, so no biggie but going to be hard to trust HUC now seeing coins can just disappear after x amount of transactions or what ever happened to them.

Now this is interesting its only showing on transactions tab 95 transactions and the last is showing 12/17/2016, blah who knows i don't think i can trust a prune node for +2 months of transactions.

If anyone wants i'll  post the entire transactions table (wall of text)

I hope you're joking, of course the coins don't disappear.

If anything it's the online block explorer that is buggy.
Since when is some web page an authority about how coins of a crypto currency are distributed

Well all i can tell you is i made a new wallet.dat with the new huntercore QT ran it for 2 months in pruned mode, one day (this week) i closed and updated windows reload qt and wallet showed 0.00 hucs when before i closed it had near 1300 hucs.

Seeing i always make backups of the wallet.dat i copied over the wallet.dat file from backup after deleting the old 1 when qt wasn't running. pasted the backup copy and ran qt. It loaded still showing 0.00 hucs. So unless some magic fairy came and took them away by night, what happened to them?

Also with a full node/pruned, huntercore has been bugged since day one not showing any transactions correctly with 0.00 (n/a) each transactions.

This could be a bug, either way not saving my hucs (large amount) on my wallet nor am i running a pruned node anymore.
