How have you do it??

I've deleted all data files except wallet.dat and huntercoin.conf, rebooted the comp and launched wallet again. Then patiently waited for several hours. I tryed it several times though. Last time wallet was freezed, but in a debug.log it was showing that blocks are beeing downloaded. If it will not work, just try again and again. Eventually it will get to normal (i hope). Im running win7 64bit on laptop with i7.


BTW, thanks to someone who sent me 5 hucs.

this is all basic cryptocurrency stuff -

if you want to guarantee it to work on windows

1. Download update 1.00.05
2. Unzip File to a Folder
3. go to c:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\huntercoin\
4. Delete everything except wallet.dat
5. create a text document and enter this inside it

Code:

printtoconsole=1

rename the document to huntercoin.conf
(make sure it's not actually called huntercoin.conf.txt)

6. Run Huntercoin-qt.exe in the folder you extracted the updated contents into

it will work.. if not - then it is user error... honestly - sorry

it wil work, read - windows downlaoding of chain is painful, it wil become unresponsive, do not end it, just wait.. if you want it to sync faster buy an ssd or use a ramdrive to download the chain.. if this is to complex then just wait.

if i save wallet.dat file and delete all the file and all huntercoin file , after will install again and put wallet.dat file i will have all my tranzactions and players ? because i have now some coins in sending and i can't delete the tranzaction !

to run rescan:

on Linxux

from huntercoin folder

./huntercoin-qt -rescan

on windows (if you do not know how to use command prompt)

right click huntercoin-qt.exe
choose properties
click create shortcut

you will now see a shortcut
right click shortcut and choose properties

where it says target.. after .exe put -rescan.. so it looks like

....huntercoin-qt.exe -rescan

press ok

you have no option, just update

if the coins have been sent then they have been sent, if not then you still have the coins -- there is not really such thing really as coins, you just have a key

the key is always in your wallet - either you have the "coins", or exchange has the "coins"

you need to download the blockchain before you do anything at all, as you don't know

The huntercoin.info map I guess may not be accurate since the daemon has not been updated based on some previous posts. I will check it out in the next couple of hours when I can get in front of a PC.

did you use the map from first post.. or from source?

only generals drop 0.96 (they drop 1, but miners take 4%)

if general dies, your other hunters die..
if you destruct a normal hunter (not general), then they will not die (because you cannot kill same colour)

done.. it will work , need to wait for the chain to download - was hard fork (namecoin also had similar issue) - don't touch client, even if unresponsive - do not end it

coins do not get lost like that, your wallet is fine, so either you sent them or you didn't
