Just a real objective answer please.

If BTC's LN is fully operational and introduced to early adopters I wonder if there will be a market for another currency, excluding privacy coins.

I know we still have a way to go, but I believe for every short coming in a system there is a solution, no need to reinvent a new system

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

If we can really achieve 1 MLN of tx/sec there won't be any competitor in the short run. But as of now it's everything theoretical. Even NANO (former Raiblocks) can scale up to 7000 tps, but... the stress test didn't reach such numbers. For now the top tested was around 306, here is the link showing it: https://medium.com/@bnp117/stress-testing-the-raiblocks-network-part-ii-def83653b21f
These tests are costly and time consuming, it's difficult to achieve a large number of transaction simultaneously under a controlled environment.
Hope my answer will be useful for the following discussion.

Now this is why -also- bitcoin is hard to hack. It will take time and cost so much money. Isnt lightning like creating a warp hole. Gathering user there and creating the transaction before writing in the block chain? So that warp whole can accomodate thousands of transaction, right?
