The ICO is basically just the funding mechanism for these projects. The ICOs have not died down, they are just less popular because the advertising side has been stalled by all these Ad bans on large Social media platforms.  

People should just focus on Kickstarter type funding mechanisms and still use Crypto currency based social media for the advertisement of these projects.

i think this is a very bad idea as many countries are overregulated or the lobby influence of their banking cartel is highly damaging
