Now that the ICO/Eth hype has died down from back in Jan, what general vibe are you feeling? There's a lot of talk of "post-ICO" buying dumped tokens on IDEX and I'm seeing a trend of people researching how to build cryptocurrency exchanges for instance.

You could build a product/service that doesn't use tokens. Make a news website or something like that.

build a utility token for an app. Sell these tokens to users and see the magic works. (If only your app is worthy)

ICOs will be able to make money even after the token sale by offering Blockchain-based payment gateways for B2B and B2C platform. Coinnup https://ico.coinnup.com/ offers the same to business enterprises.

The ICO is basically just the funding mechanism for these projects. The ICOs have not died down, they are just less popular because the advertising side has been stalled by all these Ad bans on large Social media platforms.  Roll Eyes

People should just focus on Kickstarter type funding mechanisms and still use Crypto currency based social media for the advertisement of these projects.

The next innovative funding methods are already in the pipeline.  Wink <Crypto currency Shark Tanks>

A trend towards teaming up with lawyers to do ICOs that conform to regulation (of whichever country they are based in).

i think this is a very bad idea as many countries are overregulated or the lobby influence of their banking cartel is highly damaging

they are trying to find businesses that simply have free time between work or surplus products that they want to use for their projects.
