There are lot of scam ICO in the cryptocurrency market.
In 2018 year not many good ico are coming in the market.
Is ICO market dead?
What do you thinking?

Not at all! Crypto is just an infant who gonna raise, a lot of ICO leads to tons of scam but it does not mean it's dead. It means you have to be extremely cautious and experienced as much as possible. |

No it will not. Remember how many people said cash will die in a month / year / decade so what? We only use the credit cards and saw the cash 15 years ago at school's cafeteria? |

It has become increasingly difficult to find quality ICO's and a lot of that can be attributed to noises about increased regulation from authorities without spelling out what that regulation should be. That lack of clarity about the rules has caused a lot of legitimate projects to put thoughts of doing an ICO on hold but has had no deterrent effect on those whose only reason to do an ICO is personal enrichment. But on a positive note, quality projects are having no difficulty getting fully funded while those projects that are of poor quality are not being able to raise money as easily as they did a year ago.

I dont think that ICO's market is dead, just its real that too much scams are here but I think as soon as regulation is going to fix this problem of icos. But major problem is that people are investing without any research.

99% of the ICO projects don't last more than a year. Maybe a day people will realize that most of them have nothing new to offer to the market or that a good idea doesn't mean a successful project.

The ICO market is not dead really as it is never ending business. Due to the fact that there is at least 20% ICO which are completely legal one and also come out as legit working prototypes. This kind of ICO is what keeping this market alive. Now there is no way to stop their foundation but we can always screen out the legit one and try to support them rathe than supporting the scam one. This way we can at leat minimise the risk of promoting such projects and thus eventually they might just vanish. (Might!!).

I agree with you, quality ICOs are always finding funding but even those scamming ones are too. If investors get just a little bit savvy and do their research properly then they will not fund the scams. ICOs and their funding is most definitely not dead, yet. |

No I really don't think that ico processes are dead yet. There are ambitious people love to run icos to make their ideas real still. And it is working out well still for relatively good projects. basically: less is better.

I don't agree with you that ICO investment is dead. There are a lot of upcoming ICO that is great and it will be a success. Day in day out 100s of ICO are getting enlisted on various exchanges after raising millions of usd to fund their projects. Maybe you have been getting into the wrong ICO so don't generalize all ICO.

I dont think it is dead. There is just a new era coming. New tokens what are SEC regulated and safe to invest in. BizShake is such a project what is coming with a working product before the ICO/STO and everything is regulated. If you want more info about BizShake please join Telegram |

Most of the projects are fraud thus decline in the participation.People are afraid to invest even in good projects now.
Most of the projects have now switched to private ICO, like IOST.
They kept the ICO private and was invitation only.So serious projects can still roll.
