This coin needs to be taken over by someone who actually has a few minutes to spend on the coin per week.  Brock has obviously put this project on the back burner waiting for God knows what to happen.... Bitcoin to 10K?

A community takeover should be seriously considered.  Brock has demonstrated that he has no interest in putting any time into this coin.  I've only seen empty promises.  Last MRY twitter tweet was in Nov 2014.  Last time he touched the website was Oct 29th 2015.  Now the website and block explorer are down.

How is anyone supposed to take this coin seriously when the developer is absent and there is ZERO marketing for the coin.

Choices:  give up - aka coin is dead, wait for Brock, or take over the coin.

I have trouble syncing my wallet...Tried to delete and install a fresh wallet but no luck, says 2 years behind and will not sync. any help?

If you guys keep mining and get the wallet going I could talk to bittrex to get murraycoin added, ive done this before for another coin....

There is something up with MRY.  Before when I hit a block it gave me a different address.  Now every block I hit begins with MASFED.

Also, the Estimated total blocks is 689076.

Something is up.  I shouldn't be getting the same address every time I mine a block.

Something is up.  I shouldn't be getting the same address every time I mine a block.

I get how mining works.  I can hit blocks.  But explain why all of a sudden every block I hit the address begins with MASFED when before it began with an M and a string of numbers and letters... every block the address was different.  All of a sudden every block I'm hitting is the same address.  Something isn't right.  I'm going to get someone to look at the blockchain for me and see if it was attacked or something.

The estimated total blocks shoots up to 600K in my client.  Not sure why that is happening.  It does start out at the right number, but then changes once the wallet is open for awhile.

well, ideally get this coin on bittrex and/or wherever else.  i'd offer 1ex.trade but not sure if it'd be worthwhile for either party lol.

hopefully someone can take over unless holzer has some master plan from sleeper to winner here...which seems very unlikely nowadays. 

i wonder how megacoin 'worked' out for him......................................

I'd like to think there was a master plan, but that's highly doubtful.  IMO this coin is so far off his radar.

I highly doubt Bittrex will do anything for MRY.  If there isn't interest in the coin, there isn't interest.  The only thing Bittrex is good for is pumping / dumping.  It'll be on the radar of whales if it's on the exchange which would be great for anyone who wants to exit the coin and make a profit.  Long term, they'll end up de-listing the coin because the volume won't be there.  There was hardly any volume on Cryptsy when it was running.

There is about 3 to 4 people who are posting in this thread = 3 to 4 people actually interested in the coin.  Not good.

At this point it would either take Brock coming back and developing or Bill Murray coming out and endorsing the coin.  Otherwise, it's just going to be an overlooked coin just like every other coin out there.  I wish the situation was different, but it is what it is.

Well, at least the website is back online.

That means bholzer is alive! The website was dead for many weeks.

Yeah, some people keep the chain moving, but also someone threw a considerable hash power and raised the difficulty too high. 172k
Last couple of times that happen i've pointed one GPU...and i was mining nothing but air for many days.
I've already enough MRY, wont spend more money mining it or help the chain to move. If I want more MRY it's much cheaper to buy it on cryptopia
