so lemme think. The first dev waited for the fix and now is back ? He let others fix it , while keeping some of his premine ? Hmm...

He is not the dev. But besided that (because its internet, so your never 100% sure) There is no premine for him anymore. And i had some PM contact with him. He has his own coin and project (exchange) going. And this project of him was from the beginning also involving arround eToken. So sounds good to me  Cheesy We can help each other  Cheesy

Just asking. Because I am sure everyone wanted to know how you got site and twitter back. I am glad that everything worked out well. I liked etoken from the very beginning and mined it from point 0 .

Glad to see that Mogui and you got in contact . Could you also tell him to remove/edit the old thread ?

doesn't say anything about how they got hold of e-token.org.

True because he knows the dev (but is not the dev). But at the end we don't know. I agree.

But i prefer the way it is going now. He took the time to contact us and send a pm to me. Just imagen how much damage could have come from a rouge domain and twitter account named @eTokenStaf trashing eToken.

I have two questions.

1) How do you prevent transactions from/to old "bank"?
2) Is anyone besides digiraha finding blocks?

1 - blacklisted adresses are hardcoded in the new source
2 - No since 99% of miners are there for now. Expect some to migrate if digiraha gets a downtime but not especially before  Grin

1) That's what I was afraid. It's done by 'isBankInput' function, right? You just run this on every transaction. You might probably know that this is a HUGE performance issue. I was wondering why the new client reqiures so much compute power... Smiley

2) I did some solo mining on my linux box and found a block but that just crashed the client:
2014-01-29 12:54:45,198 INFO template_registry # Yay, share with diff above 100000
2014-01-29 12:54:45,199 INFO template_registry # We found a block candidate! 00000000355cee72d59b041e843acaf27                           22d0e072a4090f96eca5bf0f7843328
2014-01-29 12:54:46,200 ERROR bitcoin_rpc_manager # Problem with Pool 0 -- NO ALTERNATE POOLS!!!
2014-01-29 12:54:51,201 ERROR bitcoin_rpc_manager # Problem with Pool 0 -- NO ALTERNATE POOLS!!!
2014-01-29 12:54:56,205 ERROR bitcoin_rpc_manager # Problem with Pool 0 -- NO ALTERNATE POOLS!!!
.
.
.

When compiling the client I get a couple of warnings. The original client had no warnings. Example:
db/db_impl.cc: In member function âvirtual bool leveldb::DBImpl::GetProperty(const leveldb::Slice&, std::string*)â:
db/db_impl.cc:1347:33: warning: comparison between signed and unsigned integer expressions [-Wsign-compare]

I then tried to run the test suite on the code. Result:
*** 402 failures detected in test suite "eToken Test Suite"

So I suspect the client might not be 100% stable...

We have exactly the same issues. After finding a block the client stops responding to RPC requests. Pool is running on a stock Ubuntu 12.04. Any hints?

Glad to see that Mogui and you got in contact

see Randy Pnut posts in previous pages. As long as we're moving on from there it crashed and the future projects are still valid (remember marketplace anyone ? Guess what etoken.org will be used for... ), I hardly care if Randy is eventually Mogui in disguise. His 100k balls were cut already, so now let's just move forward.

Almost Cheesy

Somehow the (other)pools find it difficult to get the wallet going. So we have to look in to that. Mailed the dev because i am not into the pools. Or programming coins. But i am sure that will be fixed. We know it can work Cheesy

I saw that some blocks are mined outside the pool. So some people can do solo mining also.

how come coinmarketcap.com shows a total of around 236k etoken where as the blockexplorer http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/eToken shows a total of 43k blocks mined and the reward is only 1 etoken per block? so i would expect coinmarketcap to show 43k etoken as the total supply!
