Just like in the past years of bitcoin, its price will suffer dips or corrections, and recovers again. Many investors and crypto analysts have varied speculations like bitcoin can't repeat what it accomplished last year and that bitcoin growth this year will be mild and it may not reach another all-time high. Such prediction or speculation will remain to be seen and no one know what will really happen in the coming days.

Well, due to it's volatile nature, one thing is for sure. It will crash AND rise. What do you expect in a volatile market lol. And bitcoin's value is extremely volatile and can have sudden movements with a simple fud or a whale pump.

I dont know really yet what will happen to the price of bitcoin the market is so volatile right now we do not know to where it crash or rise in this year.My speculation is in the before year end bitcoin will rise and fully recovered to the market.

Judging by the fact that the markets always return to their particular points, one of the scenarios is that maybe not during this year, but of course sometime in the future BTC will hit again 20K.
In my opinion, if that happens, it is going to happen sometime before the end of this year.
Or, the other case that may occur is that BTC will slowly be un-valued while other coins more innovative will be going to have progress and increasement of value !

I think the biggest problem has been the manipulated rush in December, which gave to many a wrong, very wrong, idea of the direction of the market. I'm not very bullish for this year, these first 6 months have been a disaster, maybe, I say maybe, if we're lucky we can see some good price at the end of the year.

These are reasonabkle and logical points nobody can turn down, but I guess its not that simpel, ther isnt't just these two types of transactions in bitcoin, the system is far more complicated. For example you forgot about daytraders and people using btc as valid payment method. Not speaking about the so called whales if they are trying to influence markets or not... |

yes it is true that with a lot of negative news it affects bitcoin prices, with a lot of negative news bitcoin prices will go down because many are selling it for fear of getting bigger losses, but now negative news is starting to disappear I am sure by the end of 2018 bitcoin will return to its best price.

Everybody believe Bitcoin will rise at the end of this year as last year so that is way lot of people challenge to buying bitcoin now and then they will gain more profit for few months.

In the case of Bitcoin, its price and, as a consequence, the earnings of the investor is formed at the expense of the money that another investor has brought, followed by another and so on ... This will continue until the amount of money entering the market is less than volume coming out of it. Does not it look like ...?

I think that Bitcoin price is going to rise this year. Right now the whole market is panicking because whales are trying to lower the price in order to buy more bitcoins. Bitcoin has no reason to crash, more and more people are using cryptocurrencies because they are becoming afraid of what banks are doing and no wonder why. Don't expect Bitcoin to be increasing all the time - it just can't happen due to panic and lack of knowledge.

I've often seen lately that there is a queue in exchangers, and transactions are very slow! as I explained, this is due to the fact that now very actively buy bitcoin at such a low price! I observe how influential people are talking about the soon-growing bitcoin! I see how the capitalization of the crypto market grows and how many are ico!and this all says only one thing: soon will be the growth of bitcoin! and I'm sure that by the end of the year it will cost 25,000!

Agreed, and with what happened across Europe of the visa network temporary going down this gives people a reason to use cryptocurrencies which will push prices up |

You are far away from the real price and btc might be somewhere around 20k also by year end will be a good price as it will beat the last year price and move ahead. So overall the market needs the bull run first to begin and expected soon to start and rise ahead. |

I agree, just look at the prices for some time that is perceived that the moment you have good news then the price increases and if we have bad news then the price falls. you said it all Bitcoin Price Prediction 2018: Will Bitcoin Crash or Rise? It will do both.  it is not because of "news" whether bad or good. it is the downtrend which the news is intensifying but is not the cause of it. and it has to run its course before coming to an end. is because of the news, you have already seen how all cryptos work, they increase and fall from prices based on the news Hope the price of btc in december will hit 50k $ that would be great.
this price is very high and impossible to reach this year |
