So, I am new as you can see. A friend introduced me to Bitcointalk a few months ago but i just decided to get an account days ago

My question is; why did Mod delete my comments i had replied to some posts i was interested on and answered relevant to the topic in question?
He said the comments were irrelevant for example a post that had asked people their fav colour. I made my answer and was deleted because my answer "purple' is not relevant to the post.

Its just confusing and would like to understand how to successfully operate this account without getting banned

If you reply to a megathread (lot of pages) there is a good chance your post will be deleted if you are newbie, even if the post is high quality.

So in better words a newbie is not allowed to contribute in the forum independently? Kind of like just allowed to comment once in a while kind of a thing? i only had commented once in that thread

Each board has different rules and moderators. Always check the pinned threads in the board you are interested in, and you're good to go.

Nop, even if I write in a megathread with no common sense, for example, the one you mentioned, probably it will be deleted. There are some places in the forum from which is better to stay away.
This is a Bitcoin forum, was meant to learn, discuss, read, ask... everything related to the bitcoin. Now, you can also discuss about how the crypto is changing the world, or whatever, which is ok.
But how knowing your favorite color is even relevant to a bitcoin forum?

Just think about where are you first.
Secondly, you can be banned if you:
- Copy-paste or plagiarize.
- Spam the forum with non-related or a nonsense line.
- If you don't read the thread before answering...
... etc.

So, as you see, this is a place where the people come, supposedly, because they are interested in crypto, how it works, how to solve any issue, how to learn, how to trade... there are tons of information and thousands of people willing to help others.
But, still, this is a Crypto-forum-discussion, a "BitcoinTalk" place.

Trust me, to speak about our favorite color, animal, food, etc, is not related.

I think the most important reason is that your reply has nothing to do with the topic. For example, everyone is discussing Bitcoin, but you are talking about the World Cup. You have not carefully read what others are discussing.

Try to find topics, where you can give some useful info, the main goal on this forum is not the number of posts, but their quality

If you post in serious topics without really knowing what you are saying it is likely to be deleted by mod. Make posts about things you know well.

Well, nice description of what is really happening in my opinion.
2 days ago, I saw a legendary account whose only posts (excepts maybe a few ones) were written in a sub-section dedicated to football.

So whatever the higher ranked accounts can retort you to do, amongst them, you have many ones who have done exactly the bad things that they reproach you to do.
