Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Have you tried this Bitcoin and Polcoin exchange:

There is not too much liquidity on PLC market yet, but the exchange is also very young and, probably, hardly anyone knows about it.
...And, after all, it is always better for the coin to have two exchanges than just only one.
