Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Is it too much to ask that the main site's pool list be accurate?  Digitalmint hasn't been up for what, two weeks?  Presumed closed?  Omar pool at least stole my coin, and now has net hash rate of zero (understood, if they were on the wrong chain or something, and retracted what they thought was mined coin).  Many people look to the primary page as a source of official valid, and correct information, and normally, with CGA, it just isn't.

My pool is accurate and has been working without issue for some time now. Currently 14 CGA miners @ 30-40MH/s

www.hasher.ca

But the OP could use an update I think...

Cheers!

I agree that the OP could be updated. Hasher.ca is on the correct fork so I'd recommend that people mine there for now while I get my wallet issues fixed.

I have not walked away with the coins, I am still trying to get the wallet to sync correctly. I have been running into the message telling me to update my wallet or that my peers must update their wallet.

when the restore work?, we need pools!!!

There does seem to be a problem - p2pool was at block 156143 with hash ecb6693789146e1d758983732d301e7389cb8b83be16eb0e8ee695321166ce2f, cga.thedigitalmint.org shows hash 8cd00da23ae2592ab9af13fcac307f3fdaf7bab8ff02bf60c67a184b1638adcf for that block but is currently already at 156233.. The wallet wasn't showing any error though. It should've taken over the longest chain. I set up a new wallet at 0x0a which is now also at block 156233.

Update: first block to come through again: http://cga.thedigitalmint.org/index.php?block_hash=1a3623d0a7eaf0bddc3e01ed00f603ae2feb567307029fe6b3ebe1d15540d7e9 . Looks OK.

Hey guys,

help to stabilize the CGA-network and spread the mining-power evenly across the nodes, in order to prevent the danger of a fork:

Everyone please update! The most current version is 1.3.4.2 but the only difference between 1.3.4.1 and 1.3.4.2 is a checkpoint. The hardcoded nodes are still down so please share your peer info with others to help others sync. Any 1.3.4.x version should work but anything less (1.3.3.x) will be the wrong chain! UPDATE and resync if needed!

Is there any working CGA-blockchain-explorer with an API?
Cointweak has taken CGA off, because of a missing explorer to fetch the difficulty from.
