Poll: Bitcoin Foundation needs Andreas Antonopoulos?

I hadn't noticed this thread. I can understand the decision - it's a real pity though.  I do think you could have had a positive impact on the situation - particularly given that it's an industry seat and those seats are in serious need of a radical makeover.

Bitcoin Foundation is operating behind closed doors, and I don't think that someone like Antonopoulos would like to join

I'd say Andreas is a more important independent voice. Let's keep him out of the BF in the name of decentralisation.

Bitcoin doesn't need a "foundation", and the current one has proven itself completely irrelevant. Why would Andreas want to be part of such a thing?

Certianly it does, but does Andreas need the Bitcoin Foundation. It seems he's doing a grand old job without it.
