Premise:
40 years prior to the story, the land of Japan has a catastrophic Earthquake that sent the whole country underwater. A mass immigration of those people land on the shores of Los Angeles and through those 40 years completely change the cultural landscape of the city. Set in a nostalgic yet futuristic Japanese acculturated city we are thrown into the story of Mike Ridley, a rogue cop that's ready to leave the life and leave life entirely itself due to corruption charges that tainted his reputation. He is caught between a turf war of two Japanese crime syndicates who control the world's financial flows. Los Angeles becomes a technological financial center of the world and these two syndicates direct the currency flows of the world(cryptocurrency is also a small part of this story).
Mike Ridley runs into a woman named Shina Jo who is a woman in one of the syndicates who wants to leave the life. A love connection occurs and Mike is confronted with the possible sacrifice of himself to save her from abduction.
- This film was inspired by the artistic stylings and music of Vaporwave and also is a nod to previous great action/dramas like Blade Runner, Black Rain and Point Break(alot of coastal/futuristic sequences).
Thank you to all potential investors for consideration. Two more things to consider: This script stylistically can re-energize the film industry style wise since it grabs visual elements yet untouched by the film industry at whole. Also once acquisition is done feel free to make a pess event of this acquisition to further the story towards Hollywood Studios, all press is good press.
