Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

All I can say is "wow" after reading the long debate in your(Unocoin) introductory thread. Guess, its good in a way. Cleared up a couple of things for me.
Anyways I just got verified recently, and look forward to doing business with you.
Glad to be here on the Forums.

Gotta start somewhere right! What made me write my comment on Unocoin as my first post on this forum is that I'm a registered/verified user on Unocoin!!! And thanks.

On an average, what is the discount to prices between say BTC-E to Unocoin, for buying and selling?

The price is calculated based on bitcoin to USD exchange rate on various popular exchanges, present USD to INR exchange rate, market fluctuations and mainly our demand/supply of bitcoins. Btc-e and bitstamp are the two popular exchanges that we are basing our buying and selling rate as of now.

And what is the percentage of discount against these average prices?

I am not sure what exact discount you are talking about. There are no discounts as such on the average prices - those will be buying and selling rates of bitcoin. There will be 3% transaction fee and associated service tax for normal members and there is a discounted transaction fee of 2% and associated service tax for gold members who have done significant volume trading.

The latest addition to Unocoin has been a quick buying and selling price calculator to our home page. This work even if you have not logged in and renders very beautifully on the mobile phone as well.

The buying experience is nice. Sometime back I tested with a small amount and everything went good. BTC withdrawal was fast, too.
I am fully verified customer.
Yesterday I placed a larger order and the buying process went smoothly. I verified the withdrawal with 2FA, and it went through after a couple of hours. Could be faster, but it is within acceptable limits.

Why there is so much disparity in Buy/Sell rates?
Buy - 15111 Sell - 13835
Above prices are including all the taxes.

Depending on the buying and selling patterns from users the prices may have wide spread than normal. This is especially true when there is abnormal variation in price with in a span of few hours. It will return to normal once the prices stabilise.

This is much safer than trading with an unknown entity whom you do not even know.

We do not have plans of accepting credit or debit cards because of the transaction fee and associated risk of charge backs.

We do not have plans of accepting credit or debit cards because of the transaction fee and associated risk of charge backs. I regularly use my debit card to make purchases. The transaction fee is too low for me to even notice it (I really dont know if it exist).Anyway if you dont intend to allow it,its okay.
